Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ModVault ("the Service", "we", "us"), accessible at modvault.snugglesmp.com. By accessing or using ModVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ModVault. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts and Invitations

ModVault is an invite-only platform for mod creators. Creator accounts are granted via invitation codes issued by ModVault administrators. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any conduct we deem harmful to the platform or its users.

3. Mod Uploads and Content

By uploading a mod or any content to ModVault, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights and licenses to distribute the content.
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights held by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
• The content does not contain malware, viruses, spyware, or any code intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
• The content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
• The content is not deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent.

All uploaded files are subject to automated virus scanning and manual review by ModVault administrators prior to public availability. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or quarantine any content at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

Mod creators retain ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content to ModVault, you grant ModVault a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content through the Service for the purpose of operating the platform.

The ModVault platform itself — including its design, code, branding, and infrastructure — is the property of ModVault and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. ModVault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft in any way.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or malicious code of any kind.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to circumvent the invitation system, virus scanning, or review process.
• Use the Service to distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically collect data from the Service without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ModVault at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Content you have uploaded may be retained or removed at our discretion.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MODVAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
